chris®oss is a writer and director based in the UK. He strives to tell soulful stories that are warm, gentle and filled with everyday magic - stories that allow people to see themselves reflected in a fond light, no matter their circumstances.

In 2025 he founded After School Club, a production company focused on making narrative works with radical tenderness. This year chris®oss wrote, directed, co-edited and produced the short film Our Kingdom.

Previously he worked on films and commercials as a writer and Creative Director for over 10 years leading teams in London, New York, Berlin, Brussels and across Asia. His work including for Oxfam, Zalando, Equal Pay Day, On Running, Fielmann, Axa, Childline, NatWest, Ballantine’s and Plan has won over 100 awards including 8 Cannes Lions of Creativity and 5 D&AD pencils.

chris®oss has directed commercials while working in Belgium including Blindmetres which was awarded a Silver Cannes Lion. He also directed One Small Act: a 360 short film commissioned by Rotary International and Google which had it’s debut screening to 3000 people and won an Epica award for immersive film.
